Another dynamic aspect of our visualization methods will be to employ a Drone or UAV to assist us in collecting landscape and field data, quickly and cost-effectively. Its application within archaeology has been particularly useful in visualizing obscured features within a site, and connecting features across landscapes. This innovative tool has the further benefit of enabling us to look at the landscape, field site and our work in a more holistic way. High-resolution digital aerial photos acquired with the UAV will enable us to capture and document the process and progress of archaeological study, sharing these visual updates with scholars and the community.
